I had not been updating the blog since only 2 or 3 people were checking it on a regular basis. After not posting since January 26 only one person asked about the blog. I think this is an important communication tool so I hope after March Break there is increased use of the blog.
We have been learning about money, time, analysing graphs and beginning to use algebra.
Students should be able to count money using all bills and coins up to $100. When telling time they should be able to do it to the minute using an analog clock and should be able to tell elapsed time as well. eg.) How much time passes between 3:00pm and 5:00pm?
In Social Studies we are learning about Pioneers and early Canada. Our student teacher Lorna is doing the unit and over the next couple of weeks will be teaching up to 100% of the class.
Have a great March Break and I hope to see more traffic when we return.
